The studio opens up opportunities for students towards the organisation and management of cultural events and institutions and creates the desire and enthusiasm to implement events and their own projects within culture, design and art.

The studio is engaged in educating students in the field of industrial design. The aim of the studio is to educate graduates capable of creatively solving tasks in the field of industrial design (designing solutions for industrial products that will be a synthesis of an artistic approach with functional and production requirements).

The atelier is based on a focused visual study of nature and basic glass craft techniques. In parallel, students learn about the current direction of glass and art in the Czech Republic and the world through lectures and presentations.

The Institute provides instruction in technical subjects for the study of Safety Technology. It participates in the teaching of electrical engineering subjects in bachelor and master studies of the Automation and Control Engineering study programme within the Chemical and Process Engineering study programme.

The Centre represents a dynamic opportunity for further development of research and development in the Zlín region in the field of applied informatics, security technologies and alternative energy sources.

The institute provides teaching of electrical engineering subjects in bachelor and master studies. The scientific and research activities of the Institute's staff are mainly focused in the areas of biometric identification, access control systems, advanced authentication elements and systems, psychosomatic personality investigations.

The institute provides teaching in the field of control automation, control engineering and computer science. Scientific and research activities are mainly focused in the areas of identification and simulation of technological processes, predictive control and applications of modern synthesis methods in the design of technological process control.

The Institute offers training in the processing and application of polymer-based materials and composites with emphasis on discontinuous technologies. The research activities cover a broad area of polymer materials processing and are closely related to teaching activities.

The institute implements the teaching of subjects profiling students in the Bachelor's degree program Process Engineering, majoring in Risk Control in full-time and combined form of study. Graduates of crisis management should be able to independently deal with emergencies and crisis situations caused by natural elements.

The institute guarantees and implements the teaching of subjects profiling students in the Bachelor's Degree Program in Population Protection, majoring in Population Protection.
