The scientific and research activities of the Institute's staff are mainly focused in the areas of biometric identification, access control systems, advanced authentication elements and systems, psychosomatic personality investigations.

The Department of Economics is particularly known for teaching Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. Graduating in Economic Theory will provide you with the necessary general framework for further study of professional economic disciplines such as Business Economics or Management.

The studio deals mainly with various forms of communication design (2+3D). It focuses on packaging material and designing P.O.P. materials (stands, banners, displays) - it is therefore a product design that is mainly encountered in the commercial space.

The staff of the institute provide teaching in general, inorganic, organic and technical chemistry for all undergraduate courses at the Faculty of Technology. Teaching at the Master's level is provided in the field of Chemistry of Food and Bioactive Substances.

The institute guarantees and implements the teaching of subjects profiling students in the Bachelor's Degree Program in Population Protection, majoring in Population Protection. Graduates of the crisis studies are able to independently deal with emergencies and crisis situations caused by natural elements such as floods or fires.

The Institute provides teaching in the field of Environmental Engineering in the study programme - Chemistry and Technology of Materials. Teaching includes knowledge of the branches of chemistry, chemical technology and engineering, environmental engineering, ecology and management.
