Interfaculty department providing educational activities in applied data analysis and information technology applications for biological and clinical disciplines. The institute specializes in biological and clinical data analysis, clinical trial organization and management, or software development.

The department provides teaching of biological-geological disciplines and ecological-environmental issues. Specializes in inanimate nature, invertebrates or zoology and ecology. The study includes thematic field exercises and school-based internships focused on geological-mineralogical exercises.

We offer instruction in national economics, macroeconomics, marketing and management, accounting, banking and public finance. We specialize in tax administration in the Czech Republic, budget and tax law, legal regulation of property taxation, economics, international cooperation in financial supervision.

The department's primary focus is on the prescription of physical activity as a therapeutic tool for healthy and medically compromised populations. We provide nutritional counseling for faculty students, the public, or recreational and performance athletes. We prepare professionals for the profession of nutrition counseling.

The Institute provides teaching in the study programmes of mathematics and applied mathematics and teaching of mathematics for study programmes provided by other institutes of the Faculty. It conducts research in the areas of algebra, geometry, mathematical analysis, history of mathematics, statistics and modelling.

Since 2001, the Department of Legal Education has been offering courses in law at the Faculty of Economics and Public Administration at Masaryk University, primarily in the areas of civil, commercial, labor, administrative, European, and financial law, as well as private international law.

We provide training in midwifery. Teaching specialises in obstetric analgesia and anaesthesia, acute critical conditions in obstetrics and gynaecology, primary and community care in midwifery. It also covers newborn and infant care, research and nutrition.

We provide education in the field of nursing. Teaching specializes in nursing procedures, human needs, first aid, education in nursing, and a comprehensive approach to senior skin care. It also deals with pre-hospital emergency care, research in nursing or emergency medicine.

Laboratory dedicated to the study of nucleic acid oligonucleotides and the development of new NMR spectroscopy techniques. For research we use Bruker Avance III 300 MHz and 500 MHz FT-NMR spectrometer stands equipped with a BBFO broadband probe.

Teaching French language, literature and realities of francophone countries. The department focuses on general competencies in geography, economics, socio-politics and culture. It also specialises in the preparation of French teachers for both levels of primary, secondary and high school.
