Teaching in the field of histology and embryology. We carry out research.

We provide training in radiological methods. Study specialises in nuclear medicine, magnetic resonance imaging, X-ray topographic anatomy or technical and regulatory issues relating to ionising radiation. It also deals with computed tomography and digital radiology.

We operate an analytical department focused on the application of social science knowledge in the field of competitiveness. We specialize in analyzing the sources and outcomes of the Czech Republic's competitiveness and identifying related economic policy implications.

The Department provides teaching of applied mathematics and informatics in the field of economic information systems. Students acquire theoretical and practical knowledge that can be used in solving practical problems of real economy.

The Institute specialises in the technological fields of law and legal science. It is engaged in teaching, research and expert activities such as information and communication technology law and specific production, legal informatics, technology law. It publishes an English language scholarly journal.

Teaching of Bachelor's degree courses in biology or Master's degree courses in systematic biology and ecology and teaching of biology for secondary schools. The study specializes in problems of systematics and evolution of organisms, ecology, biogeography, methods of biological and ecological disciplines, or didactics of biology.

We provide training in midwifery. Teaching specialises in obstetric analgesia and anaesthesia, acute critical conditions in obstetrics and gynaecology, primary and community care in midwifery. It also covers newborn and infant care, research and nutrition.

Laboratory dedicated to the study of nucleic acid oligonucleotides and the development of new NMR spectroscopy techniques. For research we use Bruker Avance III 300 MHz and 500 MHz FT-NMR spectrometer stands equipped with a BBFO broadband probe.

Teaching biology to medical students, focusing on molecular and cell biology, general and human genetics, and methodology of the biological sciences. Study specializes in medical and clinical genetics or molecular and cellular biology.

The Institute provides teaching in the field of physics with a focus on condensed matter physics. It also specializes in applied optics, vibrational spectroscopy of biopolymers, structural biology, correlated electron systems, radiation biophysics and radiobiology or biomedical ethics.
