The old sewage treatment plant is an important document of the history of architecture, technology and water management. It was built between 1901 and 1906 and served until 1967. Today it is a national cultural monument and open to the public. Unique are the preserved working steam engines from 1903.

The museum exposition of the town of Dolní Cerekev is part of the network of expositions of the Renaissance region. The first mention of a water mill dates back to 1678. Flour milling ceased in 1956, since then the mill has been used to prepare feed mixtures for cattle and has fallen into disrepair since 1973. In 1996 Vladan Mácha and his family became the owner and reconstructed the mill. The mill offers three sightseeing tours.
