We offer tours of the Baroque castle. Films such as The Explosion at Five, Elizabeth's Court and Night at the Castle were filmed on the premises. Between 1586 and 1596, the original water fortress was rebuilt into a Renaissance single-storey chateau. This was done under Bernard Ludwig Tovar of Enczesfeld. It is possible to organize weddings.
The Prácheň Museum has been housed in the historic building of the former royal castle since 1902. The museum represents the cultural and natural heritage of the Prague Region and Písek. Offering tours of historic castle exhibitions. Hluboká Castle was originally founded as a guard castle in the middle of the 13th century by Czech kings and as a royal property it was often pawned. It is possible to organize weddings, cultural and social events.
The glassworks was founded in 1796. Production was closed in 2002. Since 2005 the glassworks has been accessible as a unique glass museum, which was declared a National Cultural Monument in 2014. In 2016, the production was restored, which takes place mainly during the main tourist season.
