Traditional Japanese karate at our own dojo in the center of Brno. Children, teens, and adults each have their own classes tailored to their age and skill level. You’ll never start in an advanced group. The dojo is run by members of the Seito Shitō-ryū led by the Mabuni family. In July 2026, the family of the style’s founder taught classes here in person.

Our club was founded by trainer Vlastimil Šmíd in 1988 as a private club and has been operating continuously since then until today. Since August 2016 we have been operating as a registered association and are registered under the world karate-do organization SKIF - Shotokan Karate-do International Federation.

Our goal is to provide training opportunities for everyone, in accordance with the principles of judo: courtesy, courage, sincerity, honor, modesty, respect, self-control, and friendship.
