We deal with additional, extension and specialisation studies. We focus on research activities in the field of complementary educational studies in education. We develop study materials and carry out innovations in the specialisation study of school management and educational counselling.

The department provides teaching of physical education, recreation, leisure education and physical education teaching for the second level of primary schools. We offer the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a concentration in Education.

The department's teaching of Czech language focuses on the history of linguistics, the Czech language of the Baroque period, and the analysis of historical texts. We provide instruction in basic linguistics, historical grammar, general linguistics, and other required electives.

The department provides instruction in the technology of all printing processes with respect to creative endeavors, technical skill and talent. We offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Printmaking and Drawing.

The department provides applied psychology instruction for teachers and provides professional psychological training for non-teaching majors. We offer a Bachelor's degree in Health Education with a focus on Education and a Master's degree in Health Education Teaching for the 2nd grade of primary school.

The centre is aimed at the possibility of research concentration, exploitation of domestic and foreign libraries and archives or publication of the results achieved. The department carries out research on the problems of the historical process of modernization and analysis with emphasis on its anthropological dimension.

Offering comprehensive instruction in cytology, general histology, functional organ and tissue histology, and embryology in a master's degree program: General Medicine and Bachelor's degree programs: Medical Laboratory Technician, Midwifery, and Public Health.

The training enables graduates to find employment in the arts as a soloist in opera, operetta and musical theatre companies or as a member of a choir in a relevant theatre or as a teacher of singing in all arts schools. We offer the opportunity to study both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Singing.

The Department guarantees and organizes education within the study programs Social Policy and Social Work. We offer the possibility to study full-time or combined on the Bachelor's degree in Social Work or the Master's degree in Social Work and Management of Social Work Service Organizations.

The department provides teaching in the field of philosophy. We offer single-subject bachelor, master and doctoral studies in Philosophy or multidisciplinary studies in combination with a wide range of different disciplines.

We provide education in the basic morphological medical discipline of anatomy, as the oldest theoretical medical discipline that provides education in all types of medical and non-medical health disciplines in undergraduate studies.

The department provides education in the field of civic education. We offer the possibility of combined and full-time study of the Bachelor's degree program in Civic Education with a focus on education or the follow-up Master's degree program in Civic Education Teaching for 2nd grade elementary school.
