The department provides teaching of courses focused on information and communication technologies and ensures the operation of the faculty's computer labs. The department offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral courses in Information Technology in Education.

The department trains teachers of technical education for the second grade of elementary school and participates in the preparation of students in the field of education and resocialization. We offer full-time and combined bachelor's and master's degree programs.

The training enables graduates to find employment in the arts as a soloist in opera, operetta and musical theatre companies or as a member of a choir in a relevant theatre or as a teacher of singing in all arts schools. We offer the opportunity to study both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Singing.

The department provides training in special education for future kindergarten teachers and educators. We offer the opportunity to study both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Special Education.

The centre is aimed at the possibility of research concentration, exploitation of domestic and foreign libraries and archives or publication of the results achieved. The department carries out research on the problems of the historical process of modernization and analysis with emphasis on its anthropological dimension.

The department provides teaching of physics. We offer the possibility to study bachelor's degree programmes in Biophysics, Experimental Biology and follow-up master's degree programmes in Biophysics, Experimental Biology or a doctoral degree in Biophysics.

The centre provides courses in information and communication technology, chemistry, biology, geography and mathematics. We deal with extension and specialisation studies for teachers and provide preparatory courses for prospective and admitted students. We organize specialization courses and seminars.

Teaching focuses on the study of nuclear medicine and radiodiagnostics. We offer the opportunity to study the Bachelor of Science in Radiology Assistant. We provide training in radiodiagnostics in the Bachelor's programmes General Nurse, Paramedic, Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Technician and others.

The Centre focuses on research on linguistic phenomena characteristic of English and German professional language and on research on professional discourse. The areas of research are the linguistic specificities of English and German technical, economic, scientific and medical texts and their comparison with English.

The Department guarantees the Bachelor's degree programme Teaching for Kindergartens in full-time and combined form and, in cooperation with the KCD, the Master's degree programme Teaching for Primary Schools in full-time and combined form.

The department provides applied psychology instruction for teachers and provides professional psychological training for non-teaching majors. We offer a Bachelor's degree in Health Education with a focus on Education and a Master's degree in Health Education Teaching for the 2nd grade of primary school.
