The department provides teaching in the fields of Polish studies, Russian studies and applied Slavic studies. We offer studies in the Bachelor's degree programmes in Polish Language and Literature, Polish in Business or Russian in Business and the Master's degree programme in Polish Language and Literature as well as other postgraduate and doctoral programmes.

The department provides teaching of mathematics and theoretical algebra. We offer the possibility to study Bachelor's degree programmes in Applications of Mathematics in Economics, Applied Mathematics or a follow-up Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and PhD programmes in Applied Mathematics and Fuzzy Modelling.

The centre provides courses in information and communication technology, chemistry, biology, geography and mathematics. We deal with extension and specialisation studies for teachers and provide preparatory courses for prospective and admitted students. We organize specialization courses and seminars.

Department provides education in social geography and regional development. We offer the opportunity to study bachelor's, postgraduate master's and doctoral programmes in Geography and Regional Development or Political and Cultural Geography.

The institute is a workplace with pedagogical and scientific research activities. Pedagogical activity is determined by theoretical and practical teaching of pathology, which is included in the second year of all bachelor's degree courses and the third year of the General Medicine course at the Faculty of Medicine of the OU.

We provide education in the basic morphological medical discipline of anatomy, as the oldest theoretical medical discipline that provides education in all types of medical and non-medical health disciplines in undergraduate studies.

Teaching focuses on the study of nuclear medicine and radiodiagnostics. We offer the opportunity to study the Bachelor of Science in Radiology Assistant. We provide training in radiodiagnostics in the Bachelor's programmes General Nurse, Paramedic, Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Technician and others.

The department offers a comprehensive study of the environment with a focus on the effects of anthropogenic factors in the industrial area. We offer the opportunity to study undergraduate courses in Systematic Biology and Ecology, Applied Ecology, Experimental Biology or follow-up master's and doctoral courses.

The Department provides comprehensive teaching of otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, ophthalmology in the Master's programme "General Medicine". The staff of the Department is involved in practical and theoretical teaching.

The department provides teaching of German language and history, culture and literature of German-speaking countries. We offer the opportunity to study the Bachelor's degree programme German in Business as well as the Master's degree programmes German Language and Literature, German for Translation Practice and the doctoral programme German Language.

We provide teaching of compulsory and compulsory elective theoretical, art, general and selected language subjects. We offer the possibility of full-time and combined study for a PhD in Interpretation and Interpretation Theory.

The department provides instruction in computer science and computer science didactics, data analysis, computer graphics, computer networking and programming. We offer the possibility to study the Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science and the follow-up Master's degree in Information Systems or the PhD degree in Applied Computer Science.
