The Academy provides studies in the arts in three faculties of music, theatre and film. It provides the opportunity to use the services of the library.

The faculty provides teaching in nine departments in the field of film and television arts and with a focus on sound, animation, documentary and more. It operates a centre for audiovisual studies.

The faculty provides instruction in all areas of theatre production and in both drama and alternative and puppet theatre. Studies are conducted at bachelor, master and doctoral level.

Faculty provides instruction in the musical arts with a focus on music theory and history, dance, instrument playing, and nonverbal and comedic theatre.

The library is a specialist library and information centre. It collects books, documents and periodicals on music. There is a study room, players, two audio-visual studios and a computer park.

The department provides three-year Bachelor's and two-year Master's degree courses. The study is aimed at training independent creative workers, sound masters and sound directors, for the whole field of sound production, namely for film, TV, radio, theatre and other sound workplaces.

The three-year bachelor's and two-year master's degree focuses on theatre, film and television set design and costume and mask design. The course of study focuses on the dramatic properties of space and the shaping of the dramatic character. Teaching takes place in specialised studios.

The department provides undergraduate and graduate level study in acting, directing, dramaturgy, and theatre production with emphasis on specifically interdisciplinary components of puppetry and object theatre including their overlap and feedback to the performing arts. It also provides a study of scenic design.
