The department provides teaching of animation in three-year Bachelor and two-year Master studies. The course of study focuses on the education of independent creative practitioners of classic, hand-crafted animation.

The faculty provides three-year undergraduate and two-year postgraduate courses in photography. It teaches the theory, technique, history and aesthetics of the field and social science research on the impact of photography. Focuses on fostering systematic and purposeful creation.

The department provides a four-year Master's degree in acting, directing and dramaturgy, as well as a three-year Bachelor's degree in directing and dramaturgy and a follow-up two-year Master's degree. The basic principle of pedagogical activity is the traditional theatrical language of the European type of drama.

The department provides four-year bachelor's and three-year master's degrees in full-time or combined form. It is also dedicated to the training of future professionals working in the fields of drama education with a focus on theatre performed by children and young people and children's performance.

The Foundation provides support for the artistic and educational activities of members of the academic community of the Faculty of Music and activities related to these activities.
