Training future producers, managers and independent producers to work in theatres, acting companies, cultural and artistic agencies. The three-year undergraduate and two-year graduate program provides an orientation in economics and law with emphasis on application in arts operations.

The department provides instruction in the field of wind instruments with a focus on clarinet, bassoon, oboe, trombone and tuba. It also teaches horn, flute and trumpet. It organizes the school's concert activities in chamber ensembles, orchestras and solo performances.

The Department of Composition provides artistic training for composers to enable them to work professionally in the field of contemporary classical music. Applied composition, complementary compositional disciplines and theoretical foundation are taught here.

The department offers an alternative, psychosomatic approach to the practical and theoretical study of dramatic culture, production and so-called theatricality. The study focuses on the search for and deepening of an authorial approach to study, the ability to communicate creatively and to reflect on one's own work.

The department provides teaching in the field of keyboard instruments in bachelor, postgraduate and doctoral degree programmes. Teaching focuses on piano, organ and harpsichord.

The three-year bachelor's and two-year master's degree focuses on theatre, film and television set design and costume and mask design. The course of study focuses on the dramatic properties of space and the shaping of the dramatic character. Teaching takes place in specialised studios.

The aim of the lessons is to train soloists and chamber players in multipercussion as well as timpanists or melodic percussionists. The lessons devote space to the marimba, vibraphone and other melodic instruments. The department allows for individual student focus.

The chamber music cabinet allows students to get acquainted with the works of Viennese classical composers, Czech composers, representatives of the musical baroque and contemporary works.

The department provides instruction in the playing of stringed instruments. Offers instruction in harp, violin, guitar, bass, cello and other instruments.
