We exhibit historical weapons, hunting uniforms and trophies We run exhibitions in the fields of forestry, hunting, fishing, forest cultivation, logging and transport. We invite young and old sinners to the cellars of the Třeboň Castle to an exhibition of devils inspired by the fairy tales of Josef Lada and Jan Drda.

We run a city museum. You can see our permanent exhibition Fishing Tradition in Vodnany, which deals with fishery, painting, fishing studies and research. There are fish specimens and fishing equipment on display. We hold regular exhibitions of the work of photographers and artists.

In the permanent exhibitions you can learn about the history of Novohradsko, see a plastic model of the Novohradské Mountains and photographs, visit the State Border and Iron Curtain Protection Museum and the tomb of Count Buquoy.

The memorial was built on an authentic site where the so-called gypsy camp operated in 1942 and 1943. Entire families of Czech Roma and Sinti were forcibly concentrated here before being transported to Auschwitz II Birkenau. The memorial offers visitors an indoor and outdoor permanent exhibition on the history of the site.

Among the exhibited items we have documents from the 14th century, a map of the Kasperské hory Golden Trail from 1736, period photographs, postcards and more.

In the premises of three historical houses, on an area of over 1000 m2, the museum presents and maps the history of chocolate, its cultivation, import to Europe and subsequent processing into the form of candies, bars, pralines, figurines. The second part of the museum is dedicated to marzipan and the possibilities of its processing.

The museum's permanent exhibition presents visitors with the village life of our ancestors and traditional crafts in their historical and contemporary form. A significant part of the exhibition is devoted to emigration to America. Visitors can thus learn about the reasons for emigration, its course and the individual stories of the emigrants themselves.
