We run a city museum. You can see our permanent exhibition Fishing Tradition in Vodnany, which deals with fishery, painting, fishing studies and research. There are fish specimens and fishing equipment on display. We hold regular exhibitions of the work of photographers and artists.

The exhibition describes the development of tourism in the Czech Republic and Europe, the development of the Czech Tourist Club including its activities and historical buildings.

We organize exhibitions of Czech and world ceramics and porcelain. We focus on the specialized collection of the Alš South Bohemia Gallery with a precisely defined area of documentation of professional and cultural educational mission.

Tours of the castle ruins. The castle was probably built at the beginning of the 13th century by the Moravian Přemyslids as a stronghold on the tri-border of Bohemia, Moravia and Austria.

The Museum of Central Pootaví Strakonice is located in the grounds of Strakonice Castle, which was founded by the Bavarian family from Strakonice in the first quarter of the 13th century. Since 1995 the castle has been a national cultural monument. The museum offers a number of permanent exhibitions - Order of the Knights of Malta, Czech Armoury, Bagpipes and Bagpipe Traditions.

I offer castle tours. The first mention dates back to 1374. The Renaissance chateau stands on the south-west side of the historic centre of the town. Possibility to organize weddings, concerts, banquets, theatre performances, cultural and social events. We offer accommodation in the castle.

Tours of the castle complex. Nové Hrady Castle was built on a promontory surrounded by the Stropnice River and the Novohradský Brook probably in the first 13th century. It is possible to organize weddings.

In the premises of three historical houses, on an area of over 1000 m2, the museum presents and maps the history of chocolate, its cultivation, import to Europe and subsequent processing into the form of candies, bars, pralines, figurines. The second part of the museum is dedicated to marzipan and the possibilities of its processing.

Tours of the ruins of the Dívčí Kámen Castle with the possibility of organizing a wedding ceremony. In the premises were filmed the movies The Raffles and Hop - and there's an ape. We also offer the opportunity to present artistic activities to amateur theatre groups, artists, school drama groups and art schools.

The museum's permanent exhibition presents visitors with the village life of our ancestors and traditional crafts in their historical and contemporary form. A significant part of the exhibition is devoted to emigration to America. Visitors can thus learn about the reasons for emigration, its course and the individual stories of the emigrants themselves.

We operate a museum with an exhibition of the history of weaving and tapestry. We organize courses and workshops. We also carry out restoration of historical tapestries.

We run an exhibition dedicated to the history of the Czech puppet and circus.

We run an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Adalbert Stifter. We organize short-term seasonal exhibitions and other cultural and social events.

The chateau was built as a castle in the middle of the 13th century, the extensive Renaissance reconstruction was carried out in the 17th century by the Novohradský family from Kolovrat. The oldest preserved part of the castle is the Vlček Tower. The last major reconstruction was carried out after the extensive fire of the Upper Castle in 1857.
