We provide teaching for the doctoral program in History of Medicine.

We provide teaching of the Bachelor's degree programme in Medical Bioanalytics and Master's degree programme in Pharmacy as well as doctoral degree programmes. We conduct research with a focus on the preparation of new potential drugs and the study of the relationships between their chemical structure and biological activity.

The Department guarantees, within the Bachelor's degree programme Economics and Management, the Bachelor's degree in Economics of Tourism. Within the Bachelor's degree programme Gastronomy, Hotel Management and Tourism, the Department guarantees the specialisation Hotel Management. These courses are taught in full-time form.

The institute provides teaching in the field of analytical chemistry in the form of bachelor, master and doctoral degree programs. It deals with research in atomic and molecular spectroscopy and molecular recognition.
