Maintenance of the vehicle register, performance of state professional supervision in road transport, administration of the agenda relating to driving schools and traffic offences. The department administers local motor vehicle permit fees.

The department deals with fire fighting and other security leading to the safe running of the city and its surroundings. It also takes care of fire prevention and education of children in fire and public protection.

The Office issues decisions on the granting of a concession, on the suspension of a trade and maintains a trade register.

The department deals with the administration and management of the city. We take care of keeping the city's accounts and other accounts, preparing and processing the budget and budget measures, registering property, investments and liabilities or land or preparing statistical statements and reports.

Providing information and services related to the borough.

Preparation of projects including applications applying for financial assistance from EU funds and programmes for the city. We also focus on the registration of orders and liquidation of department invoices. Ensuring maintenance and repair of property. We also deal with the preparation and issue of certificates of inclusion of projects.

The Department ensures the operation of the mailroom, the filing room and the dispatching room, the sorting and registration of consignments, archiving in accordance with the regulations and instructions of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic and supervision of the filing service. It operates the telephone switchboard and provides information to citizens, whose requests are directed to the relevant staff of the Office.

The Department includes the Public Relations Department, the Organizational Department, the Civil Defence and Protection Department, the Economic Administration Department and the Motor Transport Department. It deals with the development of the city's emergency plan, maintenance of CO shelters and the provision of an early warning system for residents. It takes care of the prevention of industrial accidents.
