The office deals with the planning agenda for the city and the municipalities within the municipality's extended area of jurisdiction and conservation. It is responsible for the acquisition of spatial planning documentation, planning documents and the rural regeneration programme. It issues opinions on construction projects in terms of compliance with the land-use plan.

The Department ensures the operation of the mailroom, the filing room and the dispatching room, the sorting and registration of consignments, archiving in accordance with the regulations and instructions of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic and supervision of the filing service. It operates the telephone switchboard and provides information to citizens, whose requests are directed to the relevant staff of the Office.

We provide construction and environmental management activities of the city. We issue planning decisions, planning information and planning consents. We provide building permits, building alteration permits, building removal permits, occupancy consents or trial run permits.

The office issues decisions on granting a concession, on suspension of trade, extracts from the criminal register, from the commercial register, from the trade register and from the land register. It keeps the trade register and the register of agricultural entrepreneurs. It cooperates with the Czech Trade Inspectorate.

The Department primarily handles support activities for City employees, maintains records of tangible property, provides auto repair, cleaning of City Hall buildings, and property repair. It also organises elections.

Provides an agenda related to the issuance of identity cards and travel documents, driving licenses. Provides registration of motor vehicles, drivers' point system. Deals with offences in the field of motor vehicle liability insurance. Decides on the registration of vehicles in the register.
